New Up And Coming Artist “Shugga” Blazin The Grind!

INTRODUCING SHUGGA!!

Born in Toronto, Canada with a Jamaican Heritage also known as Roxanne Williams entered into the Soca Arena back in 2008.

Shugga always had a passion for singing and songwriting which friends and family of the Grenadian Culture passed on their love for soca music and encouraged her to pursue a potential career in the music industry.

While taking their advice Shugga wrote and recorded her first groovy track “Tick Tock” in 2008, followed by her power track “Celebrate” and “Rain or Shine” all produced by Grenadian Native Radford Ettienne.

The music did’nt stop there, she followed up by working with Combination Studios in the UK and recorded three groovy tracks “Push Back Meh Bumpa” , “Come Ova” & ” Tonight” . Shugga released three more tracks for Grenada’s carnival season 2010  “Give Yuh Sweetness” and “Down De Road” which was produced by Radford Ettienne and “Bump It” produced by Shaker HD.

Shugga’s first track “Tick Tock” has been well received worldwide and continues to make it’s way around the globe. This steaming hot track made it’s way to French Producer Dj The Dee, who created a Club/Dance/Electro version (Tick Tock 2 Beat) of the track in 2010, which is heating up the airwaves worldwide signed by Record Label Mega Prod in Paris, France.

Mega Prod has released another big track for summer 2011 titled The Dee ft Shugga & Dayron-Zoom Zoom, written by Shugga in english and the french version written and both produced by THE DEE.

Shugga also got the oppourtunity to record on the “UK FLU” riddim which includes reggae artists such as Maxi Priest, Tippa Irie, JC Lodge,Omar Perry,Biggie Irie and more, produced by Lockdown Productions. Shugga’s track title “Will You Be Mine” was released for 2011 and is blazing the airwaves worldwide.

Some more accomplishments that came with dedicaton and hard work for 2011, was her first album titled “Give Yuh Sweetness” which is available on iTunes and other major online stores.

Shugga is a versatile artiste that is ready to do  collaborations and explore different genres of music, while blending her style to a project to make it officially “Shugga-rized”.
