Poe Boy Music Group recording artist J Randall is featured on the ‘Step Up 3D’ Soundtrack (Atlantic Records), which arrives in stores and online July 27th. ‘Step Up 3D’ opens in theatres nationwide on August 6th.
Pop vocal sensation J Randall, Joshua Paul Randall, born and raised in Delray Beach, Florida began his ambitions at the age of 14. He trained in numerous forms of dance and honed his vocal ability all while developing the discipline and foundation of being an actor. JRandall spent most of his teen years traveling and performing until he decided to pursue a solo career at the age of 19.
He spent two years working with every major producer in Miami writing songs for a variety of Pop acts signed to Jive and Atlantic Records. J pursued acting all the while writing music in the hopes of becoming a successful solo singer. During his struggle as an up and coming musician, he booked numerous Television and movie roles while waiting for his big break into the industry, ironically, landing two feature films opposite Stephen Baldwin in “Loving The Bad Man (2010)” , and Ashley Parker Angel in “Wild Things – Foursome (2010)” . Additionally, JRandall is the lead character in a new original series entitled “Ocean Heat Miami (2010)” , which premiers August 5th on Showtime.
J Randall signed to Poe Boy Music Group at the end of 2009 by CEO, Elric ‘E-Class’ Prince, whom is responsible for the successes of Flo Rida, Brisco, Rick Ross, and Billy Blue. Among those impressed by his vigor was Adam Kluger, President of the Kluger Agency, the music industry’s leading brand partnership agency. Mr. Kluger’s vested interest in JRandall spawned a relationship between the two and eventually a management agreement was arranged.
J Randall recently wrapped pre-production on his first music video for “Spirit Of The Radio,” which is on the “Step Up 3D” movie soundtrack and hits theaters in August 2010.
