“Carmen Sandiego” born Carmen Ginwright has been involved in Houston’s
Music Scene since the days of SCREWTAPES. Carmen was the ONLY
INDEPENDANT FEMALE ARTIST to obtain thousands of collective spins at
radio with her Club Ladies anthem “BALL WIT ME” a ladies rendition to
“BACK THAT ASS UP” by Juvenile throughout the ENTIRE SOUTHERN
REGION. Due to her overwhelming success as an independent female artist,
many established Houston rap artist begin labeling her as “QUEEN OF DA
DIRTY THIRD!” That title soon quickly blazed across radio DJ’s lips on air and
in the clubs. As some artist tend to self proclaim their titles, Carmen allowed
her fans and major artist in the industry to bestow that title upon her and
STILL wears it as a Badge of Honor! Carmen has taken time to put family
first and is now ready to take her career to the top! She returns to the
