“Lay It Down” is the first single from R&B crooner Lloyd’s upcoming debut on Zone 4/Interscope King of Hearts. The single boasts production from Zone 4 head honcho Polow Da Don and samples the classic tune “You Are Everything” from The Stylistics. “Lay It Down” is a slightly new direction from Lloyd as he is taking a more loud and direct tone instead of his usual light, airy swooning soprano.
