WEST PALM BEACH — A 22-year-old man has been charged with home invasion robbery after he stole the money he paid a dancer in return for sex and an extra $300 from her wallet, West Palm Beach Police said.
Fabian Consbruck, of Boca Raton, was released from the Palm Beach County Jail on Wednesday after posting $20,000 bond.
On Dec. 2 at about 5 a.m., West Palm Beach police responded to a call of a home invasion robbery on San Marino Boulevard.
The victim, a dancer at The Spearmint Rhino Gentleman’s Club, said that two Hispanic males, one who told her his name was Fabian, attacked her outside of her apartment, forced her inside and stole $800, the police report says.
She told detectives that she met one of the men, Consbruck, while working at the club. She told Consbruck she would have sex with him and his friend at her apartment in exchange for $600.
When the three got back to the dancer’s apartment, the men realized they only had $500 but they all decided they would travel to the bank after to get the extra $100, the police report says.
The dancer put the money on her dining room table, the report says. After the encounter, the dancer told the men they had to leave. But the men were pacing around the apartment and stalling, looking for a T-shirt and a pack of cigarettes. Then, the unidentified man with Consbruck tried taking the money off of the dining room table, but the dancer saw him and he left the money alone. She put the money in her wallet which also had another $300 in it and put her wallet in her gym bag, the report says.
The men then went outside to leave. The unidentified man hit the dancer in the head and said, “Just make it easy, tell us where the money is.” While he kept hitting the dancer, Consbruck took the money out of the wallet and the two left the scene, the report says.
The dancer ran outside trying to get her money back but the two drove away. She jumped on the hood of the car, fell to the side, and then was dragged by the car. Once she fell off the car, she told police the car ran over her left ankle and left foot.
She was taken to Columbia Hospital and was treated for her injuries, the report says.
Through credit card receipts at the club, the license plate of the car the two drove away in, and the womaqn identifying Consbruck in a photo line-up, police were able to arrest and charge Consbruck for home invasion robbery.
