Keyshia Cole has claimed that she was warned against released her duet with Nicki Minaj but despite it’s poor sales, the singer says she doesn’t regret her decision.
The ‘I Ain’t Thru’ singer recently recored the track with the femcee but it did not achieve the same chart success that her previous singles had.
In an interview with The AP, Cole said: “The label didn’t really want to drop the record because they knew… that people wanted a more intense, soulful record from me about love and I really should have followed [its] direction.”
But she addded: “But I wanted that to be a statement record. It’s like saying, ‘I’m doing me’, you know. I don’t have no regrets for nothing that I’m doing.
So rumor has it that the reason Usher had to cancel the Virginia leg of his tour last week was because his girlfriend, Grace Miguel, discovered he was sleeping with a backup dancer.
It looks like some people don’t learn their lesson. Usher is no stranger to infidelity. Back in 2004, he cheated on long term girlfriend Chilli from TLC with a woman he barely knew and got her pregnant. In 2009, he cheated on his wife Tameka Foster with his current girlfriend and now it looks like Usher’s back to his old ways. Last week Usher was forced to postpone the Virginia leg of his tour. The official reason for the postponement was that Usher” broke” his ribs. But insider sources are saying this was just a cover up.

The insider tells us that Grace and Usher got into a BIG BLOW UP over his f*cking around. And with all the DISARRAY that it caused within his camp, Usher was not able to get things together in time for the Virginia performance.

After Nicki hinted at a possible steamy love scene between the two, she took another minute to address the haters—the queen hater incuded.
“I hate to say it, but a lot of people harbor just a lot of just hate, envy. It almost feels like, because I’m where I am, they’re where they are. I didn’t do this to you; I didn’t do this to your career. I’m responsible for Nicki; you’re responsible for you.”
“When you see someone else being successful and your first instinct is to tear them apart, that’s just a sign of you feeling unhappy with your achievements. Nicki says she and Rihanna became close after she sent the Umbrella hitmaker verses she recorded to use on her album.
“She didn’t wind up using the things that I sent for that album at that time, but we wound up having a mutual respect for each other,” Nicki said.

“30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan is recovering from a kidney transplant. A statement released Monday by Morgan’s publicist says Morgan is doing well and taking “much-needed time” to recover from the surgery earlier this month.
The statement says the actor-comedian looks forward to returning to work on the New York-based NBC sitcom after the holidays.
The 42-year-old Morgan plays the goofy star of a TV show on “30 Rock.” Another “30 Rock” cast member, Grizz Chapman, also received a new kidney earlier this year.
NBC didn’t immediately respond to a query about how Morgan’s surgery would affect production of the sitcom.
We looks like to pot is thicken as if the catfight between Lil’ Kim and newcomer Nicki Minaj isn’t enough, Foxy Brown is planning to enter the fray this Christmas.
According to several reports, Fox Boogie is planning to release a Lil’ Kim diss record of her own, entitled ‘Christmas Massacre,’ which she will be debuting at a holiday party performance in Brooklyn on Christmas Eve. Flyers for the performance hail Foxy’s diss “the most anticipated response since (Jay Z’s ‘Takeover’),” and further reveal that, while Fox will “address the issue with Lil’ Kim” during her performance, the diss track also features a “shout out to her girl Nicki Minaj.”
Though there’s been no love lost between Fox and Kim, a Christmas diss seems a bit remiss. Their longstanding animosity led to a shooting back in 2001, but Foxy appears to have been rekindling the war of words over the past year, releasing several subliminal disses, criticizing Kim for appearing on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and her “bleached out face.”
Representatives for Foxy and Kim have been quiet about the upcoming ‘Christmas Massacre,’ which Foxy will be dropping during her performance at Brooklyn’s Club Jelani’s, on Dec. 24, 2010.

This will be Ciara’s lowest debut in her career to date. On the other hand, Michael Jackson’s ‘Michael’ LP will nab the #3 spot with 224,910 copies sold. While it is not enough to outsell Susan Boyle or Taylor Swift, the record will have have the highest entry of any Urban release this week.
Diddy-Dirty Money also received a special gift from Santa Claus. The trio’s ‘Last Train To Paris’ will enter the Billboard 200 at #10 with 87,380 units, exceeding all expectations, thanks to massive promotion in the last 7 days. The record did not outsell R. Kelly’s ‘Love Letter’, however, as the R&B King’s album will grab the #6 spot with 150,405 in sales.
On the contrary, Tank was not so lucky as his album will debut at #38 with 41,181 units sold. Still, the R&B crooner has managed to outsell both Ciara and Kandi, the latter of whom has missed the top 50 completely with her ‘Kandi Koated’ release. Ho ho no.
It seems that Lil Kim is not pumping her breaks Lil Kim has taken aim at her rap rival Nicki Minaj once again, warning her that fans will see her real side “pretty soon”.
Lil Kim left the newcomer devastated when she accused her of copying her style, with Minaj reaching out to the ‘Lady Marmalade’ hitmaker and urging her to call a truce.
However, the rapper refused to back down and blasted Minaj on a track entitled ‘Black Friday’ – a play on Minaj’s album title Pink Friday – alleging she slept with mentor Lil Wayne to land a record deal.
Minaj refused to be drawn into another public argument and denied derogatory remarks she makes on her song ‘Roman’s Revenge’ were aimed at Lil Kim.
But the older hip-hop star refuses to believe her – and insists Minaj is playing a clever game to garner fans’ sympathy.
She says, “The girl is not as stupid as people think she is. She knew what she was doing, that’s to make people feel sorry for her.
“Everything that’s in the dark about her life is going to reveal itself pretty soon. It’s going to happen.
“We could make money together, we could be in this game, but she just wanted to be out there by herself.”
Queen B is stepping up her game she appeared on Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 show Friday to discuss her ongoing beef with Nicki Minaj. Among the highlights, the Queen Bee said she would be open to working with Nicki Minaj. “I would do a song with her for the right price,” she told Angie. The amount? $7 million. As for the feud ending anytime soon, Kim declared, “I’m not taking my foot off her neck.”
Lil Kim Explains History Behind Nicki Minaj Beef,
Kim went on to reveal that when Nicki Minaj initially hooked up with Lil Wayne and the Cash Money Records family, she was hanging around them, contemplating whether to sign with the label herself. And, at the time, was willing to help Nicki shine.
“I went over there. People don’t know this,” Kim revealed. “I was over with Cash Money and them. Slim (Cash Money co-founder) was putting me in the studio… I was over there, in a couple of their sessions. I never see her, or Drake. I was saw Wayne and everybody else. So my thing is, I was getting ready to be allies and in their family. I didn’t have a problem with that. My whole thing was, as a business woman, this would be good for people to see me with her. It would be good for her, to see that I’m willing to come over and rock with you. I don’t have no beef with you shorty at the end of the day. Beef is serious.
“With me being over there, [Nicki] was like ‘Yo, I wanna do a record with you’. I was like ‘Let’s do it, let’s make it big’ because in my eyes, I needed that exposure as far as music is concerned,” she continued.
The track collaboration Kim is referring to was “Everywhere We Go.” But, Kim claims that the lukewarm response to Minaj’s performance on the track upset the Cash Money executives, who pulled it from iTunes quickly. After that, she says Cash Money ceased communication with her, and then, she realized she was used.
“They kind of used me to stamp it, because they knew that they were gonna kinda steal my swag,” she told radio listeners. “Like ‘You know what? Kim’s cool with her looking like her, taking her whole style and swag. Kim’s cool with this.’ … If you are going to steal my swag, you gonna have to pay. Something gotta give. You help me, I help you. That’s how it goes to me.”
After all this took place behind the scenes, Kim claims Nicki started throwing “subliminal shots” her way on songs. Still, she had no problem with her. That was until they saw each other in public and Nicki ignored her, refusing to address their tension.
“She looked right at me, had her head down, rolled her eyes and kept walking. You see me, say something,” Kim explained.
Although Nicki had previously said she didn’t feel the need to address her beef with female rappers by name, she released the track “Roman’s Revenge,” which many believed to be a clear stab at Kim, although she didn’t mention her by name. In retaliation, Kim dropped the diss record, “Black Friday,” a play off Nicki’s debut album Pink Friday.
Nicki Minaj has since addressed Kim, in her own interview with Angie Martinez. During her chat, she basically called the rap vet “a sore loser,” explaining that their public beef is helping revive Kim’s career, but said she needs to “get a life” if she’s bitter.
