Recently at a concert for DJ Khaled’s birthday, Rick Ross took full credit for 50 Cent’s low album sales. The first week of sales for 50’s album was a disappointment and Rick Ross is now able to claim victory in their 2009 beef.
“So we celebrating my n*gga birthday, but we’re also celebrating the demise of a p*ssy. R.I.P. to the donkey, we buried him,” Ross stated on stage with Khaled. “It feel good, n*gga. Don’t look surprised, you knew we was gonna do it. There’s only one record that can describe the feeling.”
Rick Ross and 50’s beef began in January with the release of Mafia Music. In the song Ross joked about the relationship with Fif’s child’s mother and the controversy around the destructive fire of his Fort Dix, Long Island mansion.
50 Cent came back at Ross with I’ll Be The Shooter and cartoon clips, the Officer Ricky Series. 50 also enrolled Tia Kemp, the mother of Ross’ son, to belittle him in clips and an autobiographical book.
The G-Unit boss regrettably involved DJ Khaled into the conflict when his entourage members filmed his mother at her job, A Psychic Told Me, fans were disappointed in 50’s acts.
50 and boxer Floyd Mayweather teamed up to further the situation by taking pictures with Ross’ children after Tia Kemp brought them to his mansion.
Teflon Don, the title of Rick Ross’ forth album, is currently in the works and due to be released in spring 2010.
