Leona Lewis’ friends probably thought they’d picked the perfect birthday gift for the pop star: a peaceful horseback riding trip. Unfortunately, the horse had other plans.
The Daily Mirror reports that Lewis suffered minor injuries after the horse she was riding “flicked its head back and smacked Leona full in the face.” Apparently Lewis was knocked off the saddle from the brute force of the headbutt. But fear not: The beautiful Leona’s doing fine. She reportedly briefly postponed recording on her new album, but was spotted out shopping the next day.
