Boynton Beach, Florida (The Weekly Vice) — Four thugs were arrested Wednesday after a woman, monitoring her home from work by remote surveillance, caught them robbing her home.
When burglars hit Jeanne Thomas’ home in October, she and her husband Tony lost thousands of dollars in jewelry and rare coins. When the thefts continued to occur, Thomas bought a Wilife live-video feed system and pointed the camera through a doggy door at the rear of the house.
On Wednesday, Jeanne had a “strange feeling something wasn’t right” and logged onto the video feed while at work. When the video loaded and began stream, the image of a man standing in her home suddenly appeared.
HEAR 911 CALL HERE
As burglars canvassed her home for theft-worthy goods, Jeanne called 911, pleading with the dispatcher to send help. She watched as they walked from room to room, searching for loot.
Jeanne sat at her computer monitor helplessly as the feed shorted out for about a minute. When it come back up, she watched the burglars carrying her son’s video game system out and stuffing their face with cheese from the refrigerator.
When cops arrived, they found two individuals inside the home: Curtis Williams, 20, and Steven Morales, 19. Two other thugs: Scott George, 20 and Jonathan Cruz, 20, were nabbed at a nearby residence. A crowbar, latex gloves and a screwdriver were recovered from the scene.
One of the burglars, Jonathan Cruz, was Thomas’ own neighbor. She told police that she has known him since he was 8-years-old. She even helped his family with Easter egg hunts. Now, it appears, he was conducting an Easter egg hunt in her own home.
The four men were booked into the Palm Beach County jail on charges of burglary and grand theft.

hmmm please excuse. Yes this was a B and E, breaking and entering, they are burglars!. This was not, repeat not a home invasion!! No one was home, a home invasion is where folks are at home and someone breaks in and robs them. Very big difference I’d say. Thank you news dept for sensationalizing this far too much, get the terms right, stick to the facts. Come on reporters get the terms straight, no need to overhype. Big difference in a B and E and a home invasion. People usually get hurt in a home invasion. Geez are you all cub reporters?
