Sarah Palin was in the audience to support daughter Bristol Monday night, and just before host Tom Bergeron interviewed her, the audience was filled with boos. But watch the video below, were the boos in response to contestant Jennifer Grey’s scores or to Palin? You decide. The video is underneath the AP article on the evening, which does not mention any boos.
LOS ANGELES — Sarah Palin may be outspoken, but she kept her opinions to herself on “Dancing With the Stars.”
The former vice-presidential candidate was in the ABC ballroom Monday to cheer on her daughter, whom she called “Bristol the pistol.”
Palin had only good things to say about her daughter’s competitors and the show’s three judges when interviewed briefly by show host Tom Bergeron.
Palin praised the “courage, joy and exuberance” of the dancers and kept mum about the judges, saying, “It’s like a hockey game. You’re not going to chew out the refs before your team is up.”
Bristol Palin was the night’s final performer, collecting 22 points out of 30 for her quickstep with professional partner Mark Ballas.
First off Who would want to buy her used underwear? …”Octomom” Nadya Suleman’s presumably well-broken-in nursing bra will be among the items up for bid at a planned auction-style yard sale at her Orange County home.
Saturday morning’s auction is being hosted by radio personality David Gonzalez who goes by the name “Tattoo.”
Gonzalez tells the Orange County Register that a bikini Suleman wore on the cover of tabloid magazines and other undergarments will also be available at the sale being held to support her family.
Suleman’s lawyer said this month that her home faces foreclosure and that she’s considering going on welfare.
Pop star Sinitta has stripped off to recreate the classic image of Christine Keeler.. the woman at the center of the notorious Profumo affair.
The 41-year-old star has posed nude on the back of a chair for Now Magazine, imitating the portrait of Keeler taken in 1963.
If yall don’t remember….. Keeler was jailed for nine months in December 1963 for perjury.
In an interview with Now magazine that’s due out Tuesday, Sinitta said she was worried about the health of her former boyfriend Simon Cowell.
She said about the X Factor judge: ‘I know that he’s exhausted. He doesn’t normally start talking about it not happening again until the end of the series, so the fact he’s doing it now is a little worrying.
‘He’s very drained and they haven’t even started the live shows yet where it really kicks in. I try to persuade him to take a break, but he loves it so much.
‘He’s a workaholic, but he’s so passionate and he won’t stop you doing what you want to do. He’s not as grumpy as he comes across – he giggles all the time.’
Sinitta helped Cowell out during the next stage of the music competition at his home, which will be aired next Saturday.
She added: ‘We fought a lot (when selecting his acts), but only because there were too many to choose from and I was right about Olly Murs last year. I’m pleased with who we picked.’
CNN anchor Don Lemon admitted over the weekend that he was a victim of a pedophile as a child.
Lemon made the startling announcement on live TV while discussing the scandal involving Georgia Bishop Eddie Long, who is accused of sexually abusing male teenage members of his church.
“I have never admitted this on television,” Lemon said. “I am a victim of a pedophile when I was a kid. Someone who was much older than me.”
“I have never admitted that on television. I didn’t tell my mom that until I was 30 years old,” he added later.
“Thank you all for your kind words. I had no idea I’d say that on national tv. It just came out. Sadly, it’s the truth for so many young men,” he tweeted shortly after.
Sugababe Amelle Berrabah is due to appear in court on Friday on drink drive charges after allegedly having a furious bust-up with her boyfriend.
The star, 26, who was admitted to rehab last year to be treated for ‘severe nervous exhaustion’, was behind the wheel of her $494,804 Mercedes when she was pulled over by officers in Camden Street, north London, at 5.23am on Thursday.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: ‘Amelle Berrabah, 26, will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on October 8 charged with driving with excess alcohol.’
A neighbor is reported as saying: ‘Amelle was beating the door, going absolutely mental. You could hear her screaming and Tom saying, ‘For f**** sake calm down.
‘He was saying to her, “I am going to call the police, you’re not leaving”. Later he said, “Look at me, I am bleeding, look at me.”‘
Berrabah is no stranger to controversy.
Last year, she went ‘missing’ for days and missed a string of public appearances with the band.
When her family were unable to contact her for week, they called police, fearing she had been abducted from her home town of Aldershot.
Officers from Hampshire Police filed a missing persons report to the Met, but she was found at her north London home before a kidnap unit was alerted.
Shortly afterwards, band founder Keisha Buchanan was booted out of the line-up and replaced by former Eurovision contestant Jade Ewen. Amelle herself replaced original member Mutya Buena.
In 2008 she was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a car in Aldershot, but no charges were brought.
And in 2007 she was arrested over allegations she assaulted an 18-year-old girl at a bar in Guildford, spending a night in the cells before being freed.
.Berrabah has been busy recently with fellow Sugababes Heidi Range and Jade recording the follow-up to the Sugababes most recent EP, Sweet 7.

OCTOMOM Nadya Suleman was set to auction her nursing bra tonight in a desperate bid to raise money to feed her large brood.
In a sweetener to the potential buyer, she will even autograph the bra, , the Orange Country Register reported.
Ms Suleman, who became world famous after giving birth to octuplets, also hopes to sell a bikini she wore on the cover of a tabloid magazine.
The multiple mother, who has 14 children, is struggling to feed her offspring and previously considered going on welfare. She also needs to raise $450,000 for a mortgage payment due October 9 to avoid foreclosure.
Ms Suleman plans to hold a garage sale at her California home today and also put items for sale online.
A radio host known only as Tattoo, who works on Rick Dee’s internet top 40 show, will help with the sale.
“Sesame Street” started previewing its 41st season on the Web this week, releasing teaser clips featuring stars like Jude Law, Will.i.am, Colin Farrell, and Run-DMC’s Reverend Run. One of the shorts, however, got a lot more attention than the rest: a two-and-a-half minute video of pop star Katy Perry singing a reworked version of her 2008 hit “Hot N Cold” with Elmo. The issue: the perception that Perry’s outfit wasn’t appropriate for a show geared toward children ages one to six.
After the clip hit YouTube Monday, Gawker ran a story that called attention to the video and Katy’s look. Parents checking out the video began leaving critical comments like, “Couldn’t she wear something that was more. oh idk. APPROPRIATE” and “I DO NOT want my five year old lookin at [that]!” But, as TMZ notes, Perry wasn’t actually half-naked — her outfit featured a flesh-colored mesh top that went all the way up to her neck, like a figure-skating costume.
Sesame Workshop, the company that produces the show, responded to the controversy this morning by announcing that producers have decided to pull the song from the broadcast version of the program. The clip will remain online at KatyPerry.com, however, so the singer’s more mature fans can watch it. “‘Sesame Street’ has always been written on two levels, for the child and adult,” reads a statement from the show. “We use parodies and celebrity segments to interest adults in the show because we know that a child learns best when co-viewing with a parent or caregiver. We also value our viewers’ opinions and particularly those of parents. In light of the feedback we’ve received on the Katy Perry music video, which was released on YouTube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of ‘Sesame Street,’ which is aimed at preschoolers.”
The original version of “Hot N Cold” depicts a less kid-friendly on-and-off romance, and includes words that wouldn’t end up on network televsion, let alone a children’s show. Perry cleaned up the song for “Sesame Street,” singing instead about wanting to play dress-up with Elmo, who has decided to run off and play tag instead. As the singer chases the beloved puppet around a cartoon city, she sings, “You’re up and you’re down/You’re running around/You’re fast then you’re slow/you stop then you go.”
Perry tweeted about her visit to one of the world’s most famous neighborhoods a day ago, writing: “I can totally tell you how to get to Sesame Street! I’ve been, Elmo & I hang out.” When she taped the show back in March, Perry sent a Twitpic of herself, arm around the fuzzy red puppet, with the caption: “Sunny day today! I think I’m in lurv… Sorry @rustyrockets!!!” (Rustyrockets refers, of course, to her fiance, Russell Brand.)
Neither Perry nor her representatives have issued any statements about the video being pulled from the show.

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — An Army veteran arrested after a seven-hour standoff was charged Wednesday with threatening to kill President Barack Obama as part of what authorities said was his plan to ignite a war between Muslims and Christians and “start an apocalypse.”
Federal agents arrested Roman Otto Conaway, 50, when he surrendered early Wednesday at his home after the confrontation, in which he insisted a bulky belt he wore and three storage containers on his Fairview Heights property were packed with explosives.
The FBI and the criminal complaint say the belt turned out to carry only inert putty-like material – similar to children’s molding clay – made to look like high-grade explosives, with wires attached to a curling iron Conaway claimed was a triggering device. Nothing dangerous was found in the storage drums.
Conaway was in custody and was scheduled to appear in federal court on Thursday on one count apiece of making a threat against the president and making false threats to detonate an explosive device. Bond was not immediately set.
Online court records did not show whether he had an attorney. Conaway has an unlisted telephone number, and his family did not immediately respond to written interview requests.
Conaway’s wife told St. Louis’ KMOV-TV that she and her husband raised their three grandchildren – ages 7 and 2 years, and 8 months – for several years before the children’s father recently regained custody, frustrating Conaway. On Tuesday, Conaway’s daughter told KMOV, she got a two-year protection order against her father after he threatened to kill her.
In the criminal complaint, FBI Special Agent Richard Box alleged that on Tuesday afternoon, someone at a St. Louis-area mosque informed the FBI that a caller identifying himself as “Roman” threatened to burn a copy of the Quran and videotape it for distribution to three television stations.
The caller also pledged to “start a war between Christians and Muslims,” “kill President Obama and other government officials to start a war,” end the military conflict in Afghanistan and ensure North Korean leader Kim Jong Il would “have some pain and cry,” Box wrote.
“I want to start an apocalypse,” Box alleged the caller also said in the call to the mosque, perhaps unaware his telephone number had appeared on the mosque’s caller ID and ultimately was conveyed to the FBI and Secret Service. The number was Conaway’s, Box wrote.
When federal agents went to question Conaway at his home, the man initially slammed the door to the investigators and ordered them away before emerging right away with his wife and son – a wide, meshy belt with what appeared to be explosives strapped around his waist, according to Box.
Warning that he had Army experience with explosive devices, Conaway threatened to kill himself and blow up the neighborhood, along with the agents negotiating with him, Box wrote. The neighborhood was evacuated.
The man’s wife and son stayed with Conaway, who was not armed with guns, during the confrontation but apparently were not held against their will, FBI Special Agent Stu McArthur later told reporters. Authorities who arrested Conaway shortly after he released the two honored their pledge to take him to a mental hospital rather than jail, Box wrote.
When questioned later, according to Box, Conaway admitted calling the mosque and “making a number of statements” alleged by the call’s recipient, though he denied threatening Obama. Box said Conaway confessed to wanting to burn the Quran “in order to incite conflict with Muslims” and “threatened to kill the cops today because he didn’t care if he would die.”
Conaway explained he carried out the bomb ploy because he is “anti-government” and, just hours before he called the mosque, was barred by a judge from having contact with his grandchildren, Box wrote.
Conaway is an Army veteran, though other details about his military background were not immediately accessible Wednesday, according to Ray Gall, a spokesman for the Army Human Resources Command.
Conaway’s Facebook page offers some clues into his state of mind.
In several posts Conaway complains about his insomnia — at one point being awake 92 hours — and a custody battle with his ex-wife in which he makes repeated physical threats against a man named Brian.
Hours before yesterday’s standoff, Conaway wrote on Facebook of his plan to burn six Qurans. He also wrote on Facebook during the standoff, telling friends to come to his home to document what was happening.
“i need everbody with a camera phone or video phone or video cameras to come to 9030 summit drive in fairview heights illinois. the media and your goverment thinks this isa joke. im not joking”
Another post from last month reads: “sometimes one needs to take justice in their own hands.that is a sure way to make sure they get what is coming to them.i bebeive in being judge and jury.”
Below are some of the screen shots from Conaway’s FB page:
We’re getting reports that Chyna was just rushed to the hospital for alcohol poisoning…Sources say Chyna was taken to the UCLA Medical Center … where she was admitted.
The former wrestler is now famous for alcohol problems, appearing on Dr. Drew’s “Celebrity Rehab.”
Chyna’s condition is unknown.
UPDATE: A source close to Chyna says she overmedicated on Benadryl. We’re told she took 4 to 5 times the prescribed amount yesterday to help her sleep — and when she got up this morning she couldn’t walk and started throwing up.
Chyna is in the ER getting fluids through an IV, according to the source — and it sounds like she’s going to be fine.
Lindsay Lohan will appear in court Friday morning for a hearing to determine if she violated her probation, and she may go back to jail that same day.
Lohan’s probation will be officially revoked on Friday, Radaronline.com reports. A probation violation hearing will be scheduled and Lohan may have to wait in jail until it happens.
“Lindsay could be remanded directly into custody on Friday, pending the probation violation hearing, and it’s very likely that Judge Fox will do that,” a source told Radar. “Lindsay was allowed to remain out on bail last time until her probation violation hearing, but Judge Fox probably won’t give her that privilege because of her failed drug test, and this is her second probation violation hearing in less than three months.”
Lohan could get 30 days for each failed test, which would make a 60-day sentence, TMZ reports. Still, it’s unlikely she would serve more than a fraction of the sentence. Lohan failed tests for both cocaine and amphetamines. She confirmed the test results on her Twitter page
Finally a country with some sense…. Paris Hilton canceled her Asia tour and returned home when she was denied entry at Tokyo’s airport Wednesday following a drug violation in the U.S. running afoul of strict Japanese laws that have tripped up celebrities from Paul McCartney to Diego Maradona.
“I’m going back home, and I look forward to coming back to Japan in the future,” a smiling Hilton told reporters before departing on her private jet.
The 29-year-old celebrity socialite had arrived at Narita International Airport, outside the Japanese capital, two days after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor drug charge in Las Vegas. Japan has strict immigration laws that bar entry to those convicted of drug offenses, although exceptions are occasionally granted.
Hilton was to appear Wednesday at a news conference in Tokyo to promote her fashion and fragrance lines. She arrived Tuesday evening, but was stopped at the airport and spent the night at an airport hotel after being questioned by officials.
“I’m really tired,” said Hilton, wearing a black baseball cap and a navy sweat suit.
Hilton also abruptly canceled planned appearances in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Jakarta, Indonesia.
Her publicist, Dawn Miller, said Hilton plans to make the trips at a later date.
“Paris is very disappointed and fought hard to keep her business commitments and see her fans, but she is forced to postpone her commitments in Asia,” she said in a statement. “Paris understands and respects the rules and laws of the immigration authorities in Japan and fully wishes to cooperate with them.”
A Japanese immigration official said she was denied entry Wednesday after a total of about six hours of questioning over the two days.
The country has taken a tough line with famous figures in the past.
Soccer icon Maradona was initially banned from entering the country during the 2002 World Cup finals for past drug offenses, but was eventually given a 30-day visa as a “special delegate.”
The Rolling Stones struggled for years to gain entry to Japan and were eventually allowed in despite drug convictions among the group’s members. In January 1980, former Beatles member McCartney was arrested for marijuana possession at Narita airport. He was deported without carrying out a planned concert tour by his rock group Wings.
Kazuo Kashihara, an immigration official at Narita International Airport, said if Hilton had applied for an entry permit farther ahead of her arrival, there might have been a chance for Japan’s justice minister to consider an exception in her case. “She just showed up the day after (pleading guilty),” he said.
Just before taking off, Hilton tweeted a message to her fans.
“Going home now. So disappointed to miss my fans in Asia. I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love Paris xoxo.
