ELAINE ‘LIL BIT’ SHEPHERD 2011 JUNO AWARD REGGAE WINNER
Rebel Vibes, Toronto: After the release of her single     “Lady In The Streets,” Elaine Lil’Bit Shepherd has quickly been     identified as a “hidden gem” with a new sound. 
Lil’Bit was introduced to the Toronto reggae scene after     being discovered by Carrie Mullings of iMOK Enterprises at the 2009 Junos     in Vancouver, British Columbia. 
With regular rotation airplay on community radio across     Canada Lil’ Bit’s name was working it’s way to the top. Last June, Shepherd     received the Most Promising New Artist Award at the 2010 RMAA’s, 
and is now the recipient for the most prestigous award in the Canadian     Music Industry. Her single “Likkle But Mi Tallawah” won the 2011     Juno for Reggae Recording Of The Year.

The first single from the album “Traffic     Jam” is a classic duet with amazing vocal compliments between newcomer     Elaine Lil’ Bit Shepherd and veteran artist Tinga Stewart.

60th BIRTHDAY BASHMENT FOR CHIP SMITH OF CARIBBEAN BILLBOARD     TV
Brooklyn: New York’s radio and TV host and the engine of     Caribbean Billboard TV Chip Smith celebrated his 60th birthday at Vibes     Lounge in Brooklyn, NY a few days ago. 
Scores of artists, DJs, dancers, media colleagues and well     wishers turned up to the venue to pay tribute, and some took to the stage     and delivered live performances. Here are some photos from the party.  |

BABY CHRIS NEW SINGLE ADDED TO URBAN STATIONS IN THE USA
New York: 5 Stars Recording Inc. artiste Baby Chris’ hit     single, ‘What Did I Do’ is making a big impact on the international scene.     His new single was recently added to the playlist of six major urban     stations in the United States, which translated to more than 600 spins. 
An excited Cliff Lawrence, CEO of 5 Star Records said in a     recent interview “we had 244 spins the first week then added 362 spins     this week to the urban radio stations Things are definitely heat up for     Baby Chris and for that we are extremely happy. “  |

The WAKE: Friday April 1, 2011 – From 6:00 pm to 1:00 am at     the Jamaican Canadian Centre (Finch/hwy 400) 
The final resting of Dudley Laws, on Saturday, April 2,     2011, will begin with a march from the McDougall & Brown Funeral Home     at 1812 Eglinton Avenue West at 7:30 a.m. The walk will proceed east along     Eglinton Avenue West to the corner of Marlee and Eglinton Avenue West. We     encourage all young people to join us on our last walk with Brother Dudley. 
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Revivaltime     Tabernacle located at 4340 Dufferin Street, south of Finch Avenue west. 
His internment will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens ??? 7541     Hwy 50, North of Steeles in Woodbridge. 
To accommodate the many who would like to continue the     celebration of his life there will be two receptions; one at the Rozz ??? 200     Advance Blvd ( Brampton) from 4:00-8:30 p.m. and Faith Open Door Ministries     ??? 920 Caledonia Rd.
