Craig David hasn’t wasted much time after splitting from ex-girlfriend Francesca Neill.
The singer, 28, was spotted with a mystery hot brunette in Paris over the weekend, who looks remarkably like his Mancunian ex.
Craig’s romantic trip to the French capital comes as it was announced Miss Manchester Francesca has pulled out of the Miss Great Britain pageant.
Pictured in Paris over the weekend, Craig played the dutiful boyfriend to his latest love as he carried her shopping.
The couple regularly stopped for a public display of affection.
His new girlfriend showed she can work the camera as she struck a series of sultry poses for her famous lover.
Meanwhile, his ex Francesca, 24, quit the beauty pageant just days before the London finale on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for Miss Great Britain told the press: ‘Francesca is no longer taking part.’
Insiders claim the make-up artist decided to quit after bowing to pressure from Craig and her parents.
A source tsaid: ‘He apparently sent a text to Francesca, leading her to quit. He wasn’t happy about her taking part.
‘Her parents were also keen for her to pull out. It’s a real shame, whatever the reason.’
But after news of their recent split emerged and Craig’s new girlfriend, the reason for her withdrawal isn’t so clear.
Francesca was scheduled to battle it out with 11 other beauties from across the country for the Miss Great Britain title at London’s Cafe De Paris on Tuesday.
THE SPLIT
The judges included Paul Gascoigne and Simon Webbe with the winner taking a year’s free stylist from celebrity hairdresser Adee Phelan and a £1,500 B Wagner necklace.
A competition source said: ‘Everyone’s really disappointed. She was in with a good chance of taking the title.’
Since Francesca started dating Craig in late 2007, the couple enjoyed romantic holidays in the Maldives, Sardinia and Miami.
A friend of Francesca said she recently changed her Facebook relationship status, prompting speculation they had ended their year long relationship.
Meanwhile, Craig is due back in England this week to perform at a Hillsborough memorial concert.
