You’ve probably tried to block it from your mind, but you may remember with a shudder that back in March of this year, Kim Kardashian attempted to follow in the Manolo-shod footsteps of fellow reality-TV starlets Paris Hilton and Heidi Montag and launch a pop “singing” career. The resulting single, “Jam (Turn It Up),” was so awful, it made Heidi sound like Adele. The song became of the butt of jokes (pun intended) by critics and tweeters alike, and Kim swiftly went about getting engaged and orchestrating a grand tabloid wedding to make us forget all about the disaster.
But as much as we’d all like to turn it down, it seems “Jam (Turn It Up)” will not go away. Though an understandable lack of interest in the song caused its accompanying music video to be shelved months ago, a one-minute snippet of the clip has now popped up online. And it’s a cinematic, gorgeously shot tour de force directed by renowned VMA winner Michel Gondry that…oh, come on, who am I kidding here? AS IF. No, instead, the video is as dreadful as expected, perhaps even more so.
It’s almost hard to believe this video is a real thing. I kept expecting the Lonely Island to show up out of nowhere when I watched it:
With just a small stage separating an audience … often inebriated.. from the performer. By nature, comedians are often edgy and push boundaries, sometimes rubbing up against the sensibilities of certain viewers..and occasionally bursting way past even the more liberally drawn line of moral decency.
At a standup performance in Phoenix on Saturday, comedian Katt Williams arguably crossed that line when he got into an argument with a heckler. Once he found out that the offending audience member was of Mexican descent, he went off on a wild tangent, most of which is transcribed here.
In June, Williams was arrested for a stand off with a tractor driver, and later that month, had a meltdown on stage that included “incoherent babbling,” ripping off his shirt and doing pushups, Laughspin.com reports.

It’s a little bit anticlimactic seeing all these faux tense scenes between Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ (Sun., 10PM ET on E!). We already know they got married, but that doesn’t make it any less fun to watch him wonder what he’s getting into each week. We wonder it about ourselves every time the show starts.
This week, he found out about Kim’s little discussed marriage back when she was 19. It came up organically in the conversation, as they’d started talking about Humprhies’ biracial heritage. Especially when they discovered that his grandparents had a biracial marriage.
Kim casually mentioned that when she got married, her father wouldn’t talk to her for weeks, which left Humphries’ jaw on the floor.
“You were married?” he asked her, and then turning to the rest of the family. “Was she married?”
It was an uncomfortable moment for everyone, but the fact that she mentioned it so casually made it pretty clear it’s not something she was trying to hide. It probably never came up in a conversation…. though how would it?…. and it’s not something she talks about, or even probably thinks about very much.
Actually, planning a wedding probably has her thinking about it a lot, but as we know it all worked out in the end and Humprhies can now proudly call himself Mr. Kim Kardashian … well, you know what we mean.

On Tuesday, the Bob Marley estate, Simon Fuller, and Island Records founder Chris Blackwell globally released a new video for Bob Marley & The Wailers’ 1973 song “Hide Tide Or Low Tide.”
Edited by Kevin Macdonald, director of “Last King Of Scotland” and the forthcoming “Marley” documentary, the “Hide Tide Or Low Tide” video includes recent footage of expressionless mothers caring for their children, oblivious toddlers playing amidst skeletons of wildlife, and numerous frail, sick babies.
In one of the more poignant images, a mother draws a bucket from a well only to find it filled with dirt and not one drop of water.
It’s fitting that this song from Bob Marley & The Wailers’ debut album would be selected to help raise awareness of the tragedy.
The “High Tide Or Low Tide” lyrics still provoke chills nearly 40 years after the song’s debut. Marley, a late icon, who used his music to encourage social change, sings about one of his mother’s prayers.
“A child is born in this world, he needs protection,” Marley sings, quoting his mother. During the song’s chorus, he pledges unconditional friendship: “In high seas or-a low seas, I’m gonna be your friend.”
Partnering with Save The Children, the Marleys, Fuller, and Blackwell are hoping to make an impact. Universal Music Global has agreed to donate all profits from the video.

Fantasia Barrino announced at a Florida concert that she is pregnant with her second child, People reported Monday.
“You are the first persons that I share this news with,” Barrino told the audience at a charity concert Sunday in Jacksonville, Fla.
“This child that I carry — God has given me this child, and I don’t have to hide it from none of y’all,” she said.
Barrino, 27, did not say who the father of the baby was. According to a report from Billboard, she has gotten back together with ex-boyfriend Antwaun Cook.
In August 2010, Barrino admitted she intentionally swallowed a whole bottle of pills in a suicide attempt after reports surfaced that she had started her relationship with Cook while he was still married
She was named in court documents in the separation between Cook and his wife, with Cook’s wife claiming she had a sex tape featuring Cook and Barrino.
Barrino is the mother to a nine-year-old daughter named Zion.
Big Boi was arrested in Miami on Sunday for possession of drugs, according to the Miami-Dade Corrections website.
The rapper, whose real name is Antwan Andre Patton, 36, but performs under the name Big Boi, was charged with three counts of possessing of Ecstasy and Viagra and MDMA, an ingredient in Ecstasy.
The website says Big Boi was booked into the Miami-Dade County Jail at around 1:30 p.m. Patton posted bond and was released on bail before 5 p.m. He did not say a word to reporters waiting outside the jail for a comment.
Big Boi is best known as half of the groundbreaking rap duo OutKast, which includes Andre 3000. The Atlanta-based group won six Grammys and churned out six platinum-plus albums, including their “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below,” which sold over 10 million copies.

Fresh on 2 weeks after announcing her split from husband of seven years, Marc Anthony, rumor has it that Jennifer Lopez is attempting to rekindle her romance with Sean “Diddy” Combs. (Yup that’s what we said!)
According to BET, anonymous sources from both J.Lo and Diddy’s camps have shed some light on the reports.
Diddy’s source told BET that Jennifer is “the love of his life” and his “fantasy girl,” but the source fears that the reunion will end badly for Diddy, who was already dumped at the time when he “needed Jennifer the most.”
The source allegedly also admits that the public shouldn’t be surprised if Lopez and Combs walk a red carpet together very soon.
Lopez, 42, and Diddy, 41, shared a high-profile, two-and-a-half year relationship in the ’90s, which ended shortly after Diddy was put on trial for weapons charges after a 1999 shooting at a New York City night club.

MediaTakeOut cites an “insider” on the set, who claims that Nicki and her man got into a “heated altercation” when he objected to the sexual nature of the shoot.
“He thought Nicki was being too sexy and so he spoke up,” MediaTakeOut’s insider explained. “Nicki told him to stay out of it … and then they began [arguing].”
The feuding couple then requested that the entire crew leave the set while they finished their dispute, leaving several staff members concerned for Nicki’s safety.
“I was scared for Nicki,” continued the source. “We shouldn’t have left her alone.”
Though their argument appeared to have been resolved, the photoshoot was reportedly wrapped for the day, and there is no word as to whether the photos will see the light of day.
Nicki vehemently denied reports that she had been assaulted by Safaree at the Hotel Palomar in Dallas earlier this month, tweeting, “The fact that u believe a man either slapped or punched me in the face & didn’t leave on a stretcher w/his balls hangin off? #getaF%cknLife.”
However, a spokesperson for the Dallas Police Department confirmed to MTV that they had responded to a call to the hotel, and that she had, in fact, been wounded, as reported. “We responded to her and a friend arguing over a suitcase, and one of them let go and it hit her in the lip,” the Dallas PD spokesperson said.
