The Soulman of G-Funk has passed away. Nate Dogg, the notorious rapper and singer, has found a better home.
Nathaniel Hale was reported dead late last night which was later confirmed by family members. No further information has been divulged by the family or officials as of yet.
Nate got his start as a member of his church choir. New Hope Baptist Church’s choir in Long Beach was the name of his group. He later found his niche in the group, 213, with his cousin Snoop Dogg and Warren G. When Dr. Dre came out with Death Row Records, he was instantly tied to the beat and style of Nate Dogg, later signing the rapper. The rest is history.
With the 14-year anniversary of Biggie’s passing and many fans’ remorse this past week, rappers integral to the start of the hip-hop industry have lost their lives, Nate Dogg being the latest.
50 Cent came under attack from some of his Twitter.com followers over the weekend (11-13mar11) after making a series of tongue-in-cheek comments about the Japanese tsunami and earthquake disaster.
The In Da Club hitmaker, real name Curtis Jackson, took to the micro-blogging site on Friday (11Mar11) to share his shock over the natural disasters and reveal his plans to leave Los Angeles, after the entire U.S. west coast and countries in the Pacific Rim were placed on tsunami alert.
In a series of posts, he wrote, “Man I hate to say this but the world is coming to a end. Look at japan tell the people you value you love them… US west coast Tusnami (sic) watch f**k this I’m going back to new york.”
But 50 Cent’s tone soon shifted and he sparked controversy online when he appeared to make light of the situation.
He continued, “Hawaii under a watch this s**t is crazy. I can’t swim… Now they are saying they know it’s gonna hit the west coast damn.
“Wave will hit 8am them crazy white boys gonna try to go surfing. Look this is very serious people I had to evacuate all my hoe’s from LA,Hawaii and Japan. I had to do it. Lol (laugh out loud).”
The messages prompted a backlash from some of his four million Twitter fans, who branded him “an a**hole” and “insensitive” for joking about the Japanese tragedy, prompting 50 to reign in his sarcasm.
In a final post about the earthquake and tsunami, he added, “Nah this is nuts but what can anyone do about it. Let’s pray for anyone who has lost someone.
“Some of my tweets are ignorant I do it for shock value. Hate it or love it. I’m cool either way.”
Kelly Osbourne appears to be among those appalled by his comments, taking to her Twitter accound on Monday (14Mar11) to scold, “its truly disgusting that people r making jokes about whats going on in Japan not 2 mention posting videos thanking god. it makes me sick!”

Bobby Brown is denying claims that his daughter used cocaine, despite pictures that leaked last week that seem to show Bobbi Kristina Brown, his daughter with Whitney Houston, doing lines of cocaine with friend.
In an interview with CBS News, Brown flat out denied that his daughter was on drugs when asked about it. “I don’t know anything about that,” Brown said. “My daughter doesn’t do that.”

The 10 time Grammy Award winning Chaka Khan is the executive producer on the project which is set to be released April 12th.
In 2009 McCrary assembled a band (The D List) which consists of five other highly skilled musicians, one of them being his brother, Donovan McCrary. McCrary and his band began hosting “Private Parties” at The Garter, a club tucked away in Venice, CA every Wednesday night in early 2009 to a packed house every week. To date, McCrary’s “Private Parties” have become a big hit as McCrary and the D List have been requested and booked to perform at venues around the world.
McCrary says his musical inspirations include Rick James, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, The Beatles, George Clinton, Leon Ware and of course Chaka Khan.
“This album will appeal to music lovers everywhere. It’s not geared towards one particular targeted audience because I believe that music is a universal language that crosses all barriers regardless of if you’re black, white, brown, Puerto Rican, Haitian, young or old. Rolling Stone has decided to put Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi on their cover. After all, the reality star’s rise to fame has been like none other and she has big plans for the future!
Snooki tells Rolling Stone she does watch herself on MTV’s Jersey Shore, but doesn’t always enjoy what she sees.
“If I do something stupid, which is pretty much the whole time, I hate it,” she says. “I just hate it. Obviously, they’re only going to put the good stuff in, and the good stuff is us drunk, so all I’m seeing is me drunk and falling down. That’s how I am when I party, but some of the stuff I do is, like, ‘Really, Nicole?’ I look like a freakin’ alcoholic. I’m like, ‘You’re sweating, your makeup is running, you look gross.’ I just look like shit.”
And being filmed 24/7 is hard work.
“It messes with your head,” Snooki explains. “That’s why we go crazy. That’s why we fight with each other. That’s why we drink. We’re living in a house for two months with that shit. We can’t have cellphones, TV, radio or the Internet. If the president died, we’d have no idea. There’s no normalcy. It’s just like prison, with cameras.”
And sometimes things are what they seem.
“The only person I’ve had sex with on Jersey Shore is my boyfriend,” she says. “The guys you see me bring home, we’re only cuddling and making out like any other person would do, but we’re on camera and the whole world’s seeing it, and it does look like I’m having sex.”
But when the Jersey Shore comes to an end someday, Snooki says she will not.
“When Jersey Shore ends I’m going to do more spinoffs,” she says. “If MTV doesn’t want them, another network will be, like, ‘What does Snooki do now?’ or ‘Snooki’s getting married!’ What I’d like is to turn out like Jessica Simpson, with her whole brand. She makes millions…I’m trying to build an empire, because after this I can’t get a normal job. I mean, how do I go and sit behind a desk?”
