As promised, Chris Brown dropped his new single, “Look At Me Now,” as soon as 2011 started.

The track is a swaggerific brag fest, which kicks off with Breezy taunting the lessers, “I don’t see how you can hate from outside the club, you can’t even get in.” He then rides the dougie-worthy beat, switching between a slow rap flow, a smooth croon, and rapid-fire spitting as he talks about getting “yellow model chicks” and getting the money some get in 10 years in two days.

Busta Rhymes delivers a lightning-fast second verse, and Lil Wayne closes with the final verse (he drops the f-bomb, and considering what Chris has been through in the media as of late, they might want to edit that out quickly).

Overall, “Look At Me Now” kind of feels like a less irritating, evolved, star-packed version of Soulja Boy‘s “Pretty Boy Swag,” though, it’s still not one of our favs from Breezy. But he doesn’t care what the critics think. “I just put 2011 in a coffin wit look at me now!! Hate all you want!!” he tweeted.
